ABOUT US
We embrace a people-first, asset-based neighborhood development approach to work alongside residents to improve outcomes in the Traditional Neighborhood URA.
Our goals are to (1) increase neighborhood capacity to improve neighborhood pride and connectivity through a Neighborhood Improvement Grant program that prioritizes collaborative neighborhood-led projects; (2) increase the inventory of high-quality affordable rentals (40-80% AMI) through locally owned low-income housing tax credit developments in impact investment areas; and (3) to improve access to capital for low-income communities through a Community Development Loan Fund (CDLF).

Mission
To improve the quality of life and wealth creation opportunities for residents of Thomasville's under-invested neighborhoods.
Thomasville's Comprehensive Master Plan (Blueprint 2028) calls for the development of an "all-inclusive Housing and Economic Development Collaborative comprised of various housing and economic development agencies." (Goal 6.3.1) Tho this end, the local Georgia Initative for Community Housing (GICH) group, recommended the creation of a Community Development Corporation to facilitate best practices in neighborhood-based housing and economic development.
