Douglass High School gets much needed help from Thomas University Men's Basketball Team during 21st anniversary of Hands On Thomas County Day.


Oh, what a day! Hands On Thomas County (HOTC) celebrated its 21st anniversary of service to the community. On this day, the community members of Thomas County reach out to people, places and organizations which need some help.  HOTC facilitates this local event by matching volunteers with local projects for a day service. This year the Douglass High School Alumni Association (DHSAA) identified a need for assistance in moving items from the historical high school site into storage.  HOTC matched DHSAA with the Thomas University (TU) Men’s Basketball Team.  Head Coach Colin Cotter and Assistant Coach Ed Culpepper led their team to completion of DHSAA’s project request. 


On behalf of the DHSAA, we would like to thank the TU Men’s Basketball Team for a job well done!  The Night Hawks season begins on October 29.  For the schedule and tickets:
